MASILC has assembled annual reports about the state of Massachusetts’s affordable, accessible housing shortage. The reports feature data from the Housing Navigator and personal stories about the impact of the shortage from consumers of the Massachusetts Independent Living Centers.

Accessible Affordable Transportation Reports

Anchored by AdLib Center for Independent Living, the Massachusetts Accessible Transportation Coalition is a grassroots effort which aims to provide tools and support to local advocates working to improve accessible public transportation in their region. It was founded in 2025 by representatives of Independent Living Centers (ILCs) throughout Massachusetts. This toolkit explains the Regional Transit Authority system, identifies key accessibility challenges, and outlines concrete advocacy strategies to help strengthen transit options statewide.
